Even when school is out, the learning never stops. The Family Over Everything Foundation kicked off summer by handing out backpacks at The Greater Philadelphia YMCA. Special thanks to State Bags for their generosity and Insomnia Cookies for helping to promote reading among our youth during the summer months away from the classroom. Each child got a “coupon” which was a bookmark where after they read 6 books they exchange the bookmark for a free cookie. The event included campers from the Brandywine, Jennersville, and Downtown West Chester Power Scholars Locations.
