On November 13, FOE Foundation co-founder Markieff Morris helped kick off the UNICEF Kid Power Challenge at Capital City Public Charter School in Washington D.C. Markieff spoke with the boys and girls basketball teams about the initiative and also offered life advice and inspiration.
During the month-long competition, the boys and girls basketball teams from Capital City Public Charter School will compete against student-athletes at TechBoston Academy — located in Boston, MA and represented by Marcus Morris. The more physical activity students track with their UNICEF Kid Power Bands donated by FOE Foundation, the more lifesaving nutrition packets they can help provide for severely malnourished children around the world. The challenge will conclude in mid-December for the 100 participating students.
